Anyone for Umbrellas? (DT Post)

This week's Anyone for Anya challenge is a PHOTO INSPIRATION CHALLENGE!

I made two cards and as I couldn't decide which one to use for the challenge, I used both!
I used Darby and Bumbles (without Bumbles!) and Darby and Penelope.  I coloured them in with my copic markers.
The umbrella die is from My Favorite Things.

Anyone for Anya Colour Challenge (DT post)

It is time for the new Challenge at Anyone for Anya and this week we have a Colour Challenge (see the spooky Inspiration photo below). Now this challenge is a COLOUR CHALLENGE... you do not have to create a Halloween card, simply use the colours in the picture to inspire you!

Having said that I created a Halloween themed card!

Mad For Markers Tag Sketch Challenge

The current challenge over at the Mad for Markers Challenge Blog is to use the Tag sketch in your creation. I must admit this one was a bit of a challenge for me as I have never made a tag before. Having said that you CAN incorporate the tag sketch into a CARD... you do not have to make a tag!

I ended up making two tags using the CC Designs Itzie Inkies Flower Power stamp set. Now I am not sure what I am going to do with these tags... I am thinking that I might put them onto a card base in the future... but I really LOVE how they have turned out!

Anyone For Anya? Circle Card Challenge

Hi Peeps! I am back on deck after a week away at the beach in the caravan with my family. We had a wonderful time and thankfully, still have a week to go before the kids return to school. Now I just have time to quickly finish my AFA DT post (yes it is late) before I need to get back to the mountain of washing! The joys of going on holidays!

This week at Anyone for Anya? we have a circle card challenge where you need to make... yes you guessed it... a CIRCLE shaped card! The winner will receive a $15 voucher to the Simon Says Stamp shop! For my card I used an image from the (discontinued) CC Designs Tweet-ies set and cut the scalloped circles using my nestabilities dies. I paper pieced the wagon and added black pearls for the eyes and wheels and a snow pearl coloured with YR07 copic for the flower centre. No glitter on this baby... am I losing my touch?

Anyone for Anya? Easter Challenge

It is Sunday so that means it's challenge time at the Anyone for Anya? blog. This week's challenge is inspired by Easter so get out your Eastery (Is that a word?... Anyone For Anya? Anything But a Card Challenge

This week's challenge at Anyone For Anya? is an "Anything But a Card" Challenge... so I also set myself a challenge. I rarely make anything but cards (and sometimes bookmarks) but this time I wanted to create something different... so I made this treat box. Yay me! You can find the tutorial here on SCS. The hardest thing was using my metric scorepal to score lines from Imperial measurements but I managed!

Anyone For Anya? Two images challenge

Spring Emma and a chocolate donut...

Here is my entry into the Lollipop Ladies Challenge Number 7 - Donuts and Chocolate.The patterned paper is supposed to look like donut sprinkles but  looks  more like jellybeans! The stamp is from the CC Designs Spring Kit (from All That Scraps) and it is the first time it has seen ink!

I just realised...no glitter! Must post this before I pull out the Stickles or Kindyglitz!
