Hi Susan,

Thanks for visiting and the nice words...about the paper flowers. Firstly I found a fab tutorial by the talented Kim Dellow here:
http://craftymakes.blogspot.com/2011/03/circle-flowers-for-anniversary.html

Then I adapted it to my style. It took a fair bit of massaging with a paper stump on a foam mat to get the shape, as I used card - not paper...be careful....it can tear. As soon as a little crease or fold appears - stop! Then I just pushed them with a blunt pencil into the palm of my hand to get a bit more shape... I distressed them very lightly first and then inked the edges. Don't lay them too flat or let them lie equally, play with the positioning to see what looks best. Once I've put the brad in, I bend them a little more to get more depth. Used Glossy accents for adhesive as it is very strong and the thickness of it allows you to really place the flower and then fix it in it's position as opposed to a foam square or bit of tape. Go on - give them ago - they are fab. Just made some cards which I will show tomorrow and I have to say the little things are very addictive and affective!
Happy to help - shout if you need a hand!
Sarah
