What's on your Workdesk? (Wednesday #81)

Hello fellow Bloggers! I have a bit of a mess happening on my desk today. I am attempting to finish off an order of three bookmarks for one of my best customers (after my sister that is!). There is plenty to see including a new Hero Arts stamp I am itching to colour in (must finish order first!) plus a yucky card (top right) I made following a sketch challenge that my BFF and I set each other. We follow a sketch and must use a stamp that has never been used before. I had great expectations for this card but it looks horrible. Then when I tried to fix it up, I over-blinged it! Eeek! When I tackle it again (and I will), I will just put the poppy squares onto a white card base (again with the Clean & Simple look!) and go from there!
Link up your desk here at the Stamping Ground so others can check out what you are up to and say hi to Julia while you are there.

Thanks for looking...have a great day!

I reckon C&S is the way to go too!
I've often tried to comply with the rules of a challenge only to go against my own principles... and often it just doesn't work. It might seem OK as an idea, but the reality is a different thing. I think those poppies will look great on white!
Happy Christmas!

Busy but pretty tidy, I reckon. I guess the fun of challenges is finding out what you don't like as well as what you do. Looks good from there, though!

Chrissie again.. thanks for the visit to my blog, the duplo blocks and a piece of acetate are my stamp positioning system! It's my equivalent of a Stampamajig!

You sound so much like me - I am still trying to get things done and have two special cards yet to make. I think we should both go with your comment on my blog and leave the stamps out and start for next year LOL.
Happy Christmas anyway.
