I missed last week's gathering of the desks as I was away on holidays with my family. I am very pleased to be back joining in the fun with everyone this week, linking up my desk at Julia's blog the Stamping Ground.
Now...what can we see on my desk today? Two new Hero Arts clings stamps, one has been strategically placed over my DT card that will go on the Anyone for Anya? blog on Sunday for the next challenge. I had a go at making a felt rose with my MFT Die-namics die. Not completely happy with it but will try again.
If you visited my blog before Christmas and read about me having to finish some bookmarks for a customer order I have added the pics below. Nicki (Hi Nic...I know you stalk peruse my blog!) loved them and the lady at work liked hers too I believe! I must apologise for the photos though. It was really hard to photograph them after they were laminated as they were so shiny!
Bookmark Recipe: Cardstock: Bazzill, white cardstock
Paper: Basic Grey Max and Whiskers, Kaisercraft Sakura park, My Mind's Eye It's my Party
Stamps: Pink Cat Studio Prancing poodle digital stamp, Woodware oriental ladies, LOTV Computer Fun
Inks: Memento Tuxedo Black
Embellishments/Other: Copic Markers, Stampin' Up punch, Sizzix alphabets, Spica pens, Flower punches, Kindyglitz Crystalina, Buttons, floss, Marvy circle punch, assorted ribbon
Thanks for looking...have a great day!

Hullo Susan, I am told by Brenda from Butlerabroad that you are from Oz and you have one of those pink guns at Christmas time ( which I can see on your desk, anyway!).. and as live in Oz too, I wondered:
1. where it is from 2. how much it is and how easy is it to use as have very tiny (and arthritic) hands.. Brenda says she has too and no probs for her... ta muchly!

Thanks for answering my query Susan so quickly!! and re- the stickiness of tape I read last night on Ikki's cuttlebug cupboard if you put glue stick on where you are putting tape it gives you a few minutes for moveability before it rips have not tried it but maybe that will help with the stickiness of tape found it in Oz for $75 so your option sounds the way to go!! much appreciated! Shaz in oz. xx Ps better get off here into some house work!! :D
Sorry I am a bit late this week but at least I have seen all your latest gorgeous cards too!!
Lovely to be given a new bookmark, makes you want to buy a new book to go with it!
