My gorgeous sister turned 40 this week and as my birthday was ten days prior to hers we had a combined family dinner last night to celebrate both of our special days. A good excuse to go out for dinner and eat cake! I wanted to make her a really special card, something that she wouldn't expect so I made this...
The inside text says "Celebrate!"
My niece is 12 and obviously doesn't know who Betty Boop is because she thought I had coloured in a stripper and put it on her mother's card! Oh to be young!
Card Recipe:
Cardstock: Bazzill, White textured cardstock
Paper: Kaisercraft Sakura Park, Basic grey June bug
Stamps: Betty Boop free colouring in page from the Internet, Computer generated sentiment
Inks: none
Embellishments/Other: Copics, Nestabilities, Kaisercraft Rhinestones, Sizzix decorative swirl die, Green Tara flowers, Kaisercraft Paper rose (edged with black copic and glitter), Kindyglitz Crystalina, Spotted grosgrain ribbon
Thanks for looking...have a great night!
