What's on your Workdesk? (Wednesday #91)

Prepare yourselves my blogging friends as I am in a bit of a mess this week! I have card orders pending (plus all of my Pay It Forwards) and I am trying to get myself organised in case I get called in to work. For those who don't know I am a primary school teacher on leave from my job and I will be working as an emergency (substitute) teacher this year. Basically I will get a phone call between 7:00 and 7:30 am to teach a class for the day. So I need to have all of my school stuff and the two kiddos organised. EEK!
I have my sketch book out as I have an order for the cow card (with a different sentiment) that I need to make by Friday. The images under each sketch are of cards that I have made using the sketch. I think if you compare last week's photo with this one you will see lots of stuff that hasn't been put away and you should see the floor! Might get to it tomorrow... or the next day!! I have nothing to fix for the kids this week so hooray. I wonder if that has anything to do with them both being at school at not having as much time for playing with / creating / breaking things! Miss 5 has her first full week of school next week so you don't want to come visiting after school on Friday the 11th! LOL!

Join in the fun at the Stamping Ground... Julia's blog for those in need of some crafting support and if you just want to find someone with a messier desk than yours! Thanks to those who visited last week... xxox

ETA: I have to glue some googley eyes on one of Master 7's art projects so I do have kids' stuff on my desk now!

Thanks for looking...have a great day!

Great view of what is on your desk - some fab cards there and how organised - wish I could be! Thanks for the explanation of your teaching job - was wondering about the family leave in your bio. Happy WOYWW! #36

I used to teach on a supply basis, then returned full time, then MS arrived in my life but once a teacher, always a teacher and I recognise your level of organisation. I photograph every card I make (they don't all reach the blog if private clients' items) and keep photo album/catalogues for clients to view. Desk rarely untidy except when creative - all the best with the school week.

Love your sketch book.
I photograph my cards but never actually print them out so they are never there for inspiration. Good idea - might take that up.
Thanks for sharing

Oh that huge Hero stamp is unemployed - send it to me, I'll help! Your sketch organisation and records are scarey...guess all that happens naturally for teachers!

A very busy and creative desk. Nothing like young kids with art projects to keep you from cleaning.

I really like your sketchbook - I should get into the habit of keeping one too.

My sister recently qualified as a teacher in the US (she is from the UK originally) and at the moment she is subbing until a full time position comes along. She found it stressful at first but is getting used to it now. She teaches mainly special needs children.

Happy WOYWW!

Sounds hard being a sub teacher, I'd be in a total panic if they called me in!! Can't believe you put a pic of you card with the sketch, that's some serious organizing gene you must have!!

Loving your idea of the sketchbook. Do you design the card in there first or do you copy it in there after? Loving you desk which has loads of creativity going on.
